Watermain Flushing

Please be advised that Cherry Creek Waterworks Maintenance Department will be flushing the water lines during the three-day period of: June 24, 25 & 26, 2026.           

The actual time may be slightly shorter or longer depending on circumstances beyond the control of the maintenance department.  Watermain flushing is part of CCWD's maintenance program to remove sediment and to maintain good water quality.  This process may temporarily result in cloudy water and/or changes in water pressure.  YOUR WATER REMAINS SAFE TO USE; however, once flushing is complete, we recommend you run your outside tap for a minimum of five minutes, or until the water runs clear, flush the tank and the back of the toilets, and flush your hot water tank per manufacturer's instructions.  Please check your water supply before doing laundry to avoid possible staining.
