STAGE 4 WATER RESTRICTIONS Effective Immediately:
August 13, 2025
Due to the Mount Underwood Wildfire (V71498) the Cherry Creek Waterworks District will be imposing STAGE 4 water restrictions, With the exception of allowing the watering of gardens between 6am-9am and 6pm-9pm with a spring-loaded handheld nozzle for a maximum of 2 hrs per day. Stage 4 water restrictions can be found here: Water_Restricions_-_2025.pdf Simply put, in Stage 4, water should be utilized for the following purposes only: i.e. drinking water, food preparation, and hygiene.
This is for the purpose of conserving a maximum amount of water storage that can be utilized for fire fighting operations should the need arise. Restrictions will be adjusted as the wildfire situation changes. Thank you to all residents for your understanding.
Reminder: Current Evacuation Alerts and Orders DO NOT affect Cherry Creek Proper (Waterworks District North of Hwy 4 and Johnson Rd)

With the long weekend coming up, this is just a reminder that the Cherry Creek Waterworks District has transitioned into Stage 2 Water Restrictions.
Please limit Lawn Sprinkling to between 6-9am or 6-9pm on Wednesdays & Saturdays for EVEN-numbered house addresses, and Thursdays & Sundays for ODD-numbered house addresses.
